Last year I was accepted into National Honor Society. This is something that I am particularly proud of. It was a nice reward for all the hard work I have put in the last couple years. To remain in NHS you must complete 20 hours of community service per year and maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA. I have been able to take part in multiple drives and receive a variety of volunteer opportunities. Being in National Honor Society is a great leadership experience as well as a way to give back to my community. One of the ways I have been receiving my 20 community hours is through the program called Big Brothers Big Sisters. For starters this is an amazing program and does so much for the kids apart of it.
