Benefits of Censorship
Censorship is the suppression or prohibition of any parts of books, films, news, etc… that are considered obscene, politically unacceptable, or a threat to security. Censorship is needed for protection from children listening to inappropriate language. Also, it helps parents know that their children should be watching non child content. In another way, censorship helps out protecting countries of this world with attacks and danger. Another reason why censorship is very good is that in schools teachers should not teach children other than what can help them in their future. Men and women in this world should know that censorship is helpful, especially in the case of children. Children should not be exposed to inappropriate …show more content…
In this world we live in right now, people don't care what children are watching, when they should know that it is not right. Children should not watch inappropriate programs. In this article entitled, “Pros and Cons of Censorship” the author states about how censorship does not mean restraining the expression of people, in fact it is imposed to protect them. He talks about several reasons on how it's helpful to our society. Censorship can prevent the public display of disrespect to any particular individual or community. Many children in this world learn many bad actions all that should be censored. Teachers should not let children say bad language, manners, and bad behavior. In this article entitled, “Censorship in the Schools,” the author states, “Censorship in schools is a complicated situation because there are many variables involved that can impact the way children learn and the way schools serve to education. Censorship in schools usually exists in the form of the removal or manipulation of materials might range from that which officials and parents gave generally decided is inappropriate for our children, such as nudity, to teaching subjects that some find objectionable, such as evolution versus complicated.”I agree with this because it is true and is complicated.
