The world has advanced in ways where death for dissection can be prevented while still being able to get the full experience: “Virtual dissection simulations, 3D models, plastinated specimens, videos, slides, charts, and online presentations offer ways for teachers to avoid the ethical controversies associated with dissection without compromising student learning.”7 The reusable alternatives make it possible to revisit; schools save money since they are cheaper and also able to reuse them. Figure 2 displays the sizable difference between digital frogs and the traditional animals; the fake frog’s price stays consistent while the real animal rapidly increases.

Even before the students start dissecting, their health is at risk; “the formaldehyde chemical solution used for preserving animals for dissection can put students' health at risk. This can cause nausea, headaches and breathing difficulties and has been linked to cancer, they pointed out.”9 Being such a dangerous procedure, the benefits may not surmount the potential
