I view advising as a way to help students with college life. Advising is great when it comes to the student's education, and it's a great way for advisors to get to know their students. Advising is important because advising helps when it comes to making sure the students are on the right track of making good grades, reaching their goals before graduation and developing the skills they need for their careers and life outside of college. Advising is the backbone for a successful student, and without advising students would be lost. Advising is the key when it comes to achieving all the goals we need for a smooth journey through college.
