This short story, "The Scarlet Ibis" is written by James Hurst. This story is about a boy named Doodle who is unique. Doodle goes through many struggles to live a normal life with the help of his brother, Doodle accomplished his goals. The character knows as Doodles brother can be best described as ashamed and a helpful person.
