I think that technology can have many positive and negative aspects on the lives of children. First of all, children may become reliant on this new and exciting technology. In The Veldt, Peter and Wendy didn’t know how to bathe themselves and required a special machine to do it for them. In the case that the machines stopped working without warning, it would be catastrophic. These kids would most likely be sent into panic. They would not be able to preform everyday functions nor would they have the necessary skills to survive without the technology.
