In Anne Lamott’s article “Shitty first drafts,” she believes that every good writer or every writer should write their shitty first drafts because the writer produce better results on “good second drafts and terrific third drafts”(Lamott 1). She points out that in order to be good in writing, the writer requires first to allow the words and ideas to come flowing out without any restriction.
