Theodore Roosevelt was a very athletic and active president. One time when he was in a boxing match during his presidency he got hit so bad, it left his left eye blind. He’s also known for being the “1st” modern president and being elected for himself and not the political party.

In Theodores early life it was pretty normal. He went to Harvard Law and got bored there so he dropped out. Then soon he got into politics and got elected to the New York Assembly and became the leader of the republican party. His reputation was his attacks against corruption. His last term was in February of 1884, he only did the 1st of 3 terms. He took a break in politics after his mom and wife died on the same day. After that he went to a ranch at the Mississippi
