Are all people treated equal in the Harrison Bergeron story. People in this story are not all treated equal. Even though the Handicapper General restricts speed, strength, intelligence, and beauty, people are not treated equal. They can all do the same things to the same extent but are not equal. They are still not treated the same.
As stated on page 8, Harrison was shot on the spot. If all people were treated equal everyone would have been shot. As written by the author throughout the whole story, people were wearing handicaps. Everyone had more or less than the other. As written in the test Harrison kept breaking the old handicaps so they had to give him new ones. Was that equal to everyone.
