In this documentary, Under the Electric Sky is a film about people and their love for music. It introduces people to the world of EDM presenting a world more than drugs, alcohol, hookups, and partying. People all over the world go to this event teaching each other the sense of social acceptance and sharing their positive energy with one another. Using this event as an escape from reality, where they can enjoy their freedom of judgement and structured lifestyle. This event called Electric Daisy Carnival at Las Vegas Speedway hosted by Insomniac. There are over 130,000 people attending this 3-day music festival event which begin at dusk and ends at dawn, which is around 5pm till 6am. It contains 7 different type of EDM(Electronic dance music) stages along with art carts, vendors, art installations, and amusement park attractions for everyone to enjoy. Wandering the events there are many acrobats, clowns, and many lights flashing to the rhythm of the music. People view this event as a way for people to do drugs, get drunk, hook up, and such

The DJs performing at the events are on stage, in a sense a higher level since people do not meet them they just dance another to the music they play. There are different stages with different DJs playing for people, so attendees have to decide who they want to listen to at the event. Pasquale Rotella is in man in charge of this event, so people think very highly of him since he is the creator of these events. He is the one who decides which DJs perform, map out the venue, choose the activities, and everything that happens in this occasion.
