Question 1 - What was one of the most important thing to you as you got older and was getting ready for retirement?
Answer- Her answer was that she would save enough money that she could live comfortable in her later years till she died.
Question 2 – What type of genetic background did you have and how has that effected your health and medical as you grew older?
Answer – Her mother had kidney problems which resulted in having to do dialysis. She has also had a kidney problems which required her to have dialysis twice a week for 4 hours at a time.
Question 3 – What type of funds did you have for retirement?
Answer – She had a pension and retirement that she got from her decease husband. She also had a savings account that she saved over the years. At the age of 66 she plans on applying for her social security benefits.

Question 5 – Are you able to handle all of your medical needs with Medicare?
Answer – She frustratingly tells me no, she had to purchase another insurance policy to help pay along with her Medicare.
Question 6 – There is a myth that older adults want to live in nursing homes, is that true in your situation?
Answer – No, she explains to me. She tells me that is not true in her situation, she does not want to live in a nursing home. She also tells me she is planning on living in her own house as long as she is physically able to and if at that point she is unable to she has two kids that she could go live with and would take care of her.
Question 7 – There is another myth that older adults or neither interested in or have the capacity for sexual relations.
Answer – She looks at me and laughs while saying no comment next question please.
