Have you ever thought about living in a place that is stress-free and pain-free? just imagine it. no pain, no stress. Sounds good. But living in a utopian society is not as good as it sounds. Living in a democratic society is better than living in a utopian society because in a democratic society your free and can make your own decision of what you want to do with your life, you can also make choices of what you want to wear, and you don't have to look like everybody else and can show your personality. Also, you can show your fillings and talk about how your day was to your family.

One reason why living in a democratic society is better is because in a democratic society your free and can make your own decisions about what you want to do with your life.( for example, you can choose what career you want,and where you want to live). In a Utopian society you get choices made for you. In the book the giver, which is about a Utopian society,
