Vaccinations first started making their appearance dating all the way back to the 18th century. Fast forward to the 21st century and vaccines are still being developed and improved on. Vaccinations that have helped saved thousands of lives and nearly eradicated many infectious diseases. Despite this knowledge, many parents are beginning to question these vaccinations and decide against vaccinating their child. Armed with an abundance of “facts” from the internet, it seems many parents are making this potentially life-threatening decision based upon flawed un-reputable information.
It is imperative that the risks and benefits to vaccinations are clear to parents who will be faced with making the decision whether to vaccinate their child or not.
