Bouncing between facts and anectodes, Jess Walter’s “We Live In Water” is a beautifully written suite of diverse and searching stories about personal struggle and diminished dreams, all of them marked by wry wit, keen eye and generosity of spirit. Of all the stories the one that particularly interests me is a darkly comic “Don’t Eat Cat” supposedly a satire take on the current pop culture interest in zombies. However I would like to point out and question the very practice of doing drugs that people often get into in order to get over any kind of stress they are experiencing. Whenever there is imperfection, there are million chances of improvement. Dealing effectively with our difficulties and problems requires appropriate emotional control, acceptance of realities, charting out a course of action, and finally taking preventive measures to keep future problems at bay. Thus, arming ourselves with the right intellectual, mental, and spiritual strategies to get through these phases can help us achieve successful breakthroughs. I believe that everyone has problems or challenges to overcome everyday. Even people who think that they are perfect have problems or challenges to overcome everyday. I always have to overcome challenges or problems. No one in this world will not have any challenges or problems. I believe that problems are challenges to overcome in our daily life. Believe in yourself and believe in your problems. As it is wisely quoted” One of the secrets of life is to make stepping stones out of stumbling blocks.” One should make the best out of every situation. Difficulties test the courage, patience, perseverance and true character of a human being. Adversity and hardships make a p erson strong and ready to face the challenges of life with equanimity.
