I was trying to rack my brain and think of a cultural symbol that resonated with me personally. Of course, an anchor because of my time in the Navy is special. A cross because I grew up in a very conservative Christian community or perhaps the sign that represents femininity. However, I think the black power sign is something that is the most meaningful to me.
