Imagine that you are taking a test in your classroom, your classmate is chewing gum. Five minutes pass and you are still working on the first problem, all because the student chewing gum. Chewing gum is bad for many reasons .Chewing gum can distract another student, It is messy and unsanitary, and it is not good for health.Chewing gum should not allowed in school.

Chewing gum distract other people from learning.If you are not chewing gum it does not make any noise that can distract other people from learning. Chomp-clack-chomp-clamp that’s all you hear when you chewing gum and this noise distracting other people's concentrate and people cannot work. Jake Miller a seventh grade teacher says ¨gum snapping and bubble blowing is distracting other people.¨ In the article Chewing Gum Negative Effects and Disadvantages it states that ¨in public areas, school, workplace, etc. chewing gum is distracting and irritating.¨ If you blow a big bubble and it’s brust then it’s make a noise. Loud chewer are not the only downfall of chewing gum, it is also messy and unsanitary.

They are wrong chewing gum is unhealthy for many reasons. In the article Chewing Gum Negative Effects and Disadvantages states “sugared gums can with heavy use cause tooth decay gum disease and cavities.” The article also said “sometimes the chewing of gum can lead to the increased levels of stress to your stomach and intestines. Stomach issues that can appear in those situations are irritation, aches and aggravated gastritis.” It could be stuck in your throat and could be fatal to you. All these effects lead to Kidney problems, Masseter problems and Irregular development of facial muscles.
