The year is 180 AD and its only been a month since I have lost the closest thing I have to a mother and father, my family was murdered on the account of jealousy from the queen when she had found out of the affairs I have had with her brother she sent for her men to kill me for what she found as treason, but no crimes were made as the prince and I were to soon be wed. The queen had ruined that she thinks I am dead and no longer a threat to her but the only people who have died are her men who were set to kill me little did they known I was a great warrior in the Marcomannic wars so the luck was ever so in my favor, after defeating the men who once fought by my side I ran towards my old home to see my family slaughtered I was too late as was …show more content…
You could hear the crowds roaring as if they were lions fighting to defend their cub, you could smell the sweat of the men who just wanted to be with their wives. I was feeling quite bitter no remorse whatsoever I wanted to get this to be over for the other men to just end my life before I could end theirs. I started walking toward the arena it was time for us to fight I was met with the bars on the wall waiting to be opened. My body feeling heavy from being covered in armor with a sword at my side the gate finally raised and we rushed out seeing men killing one another blood being spilt I drew my sword and waited for the big men to rush towards me but no such thing happened but my fellow men were being slaughtered and I couldn’t stand the thought so I fought and became a part of Rome’s evil games I killed men without feeling he slightest bit sorry for what I have done, the crowd grew to love me and the love started to spark a rebellion the queen hated the idea and was due to meet a visit with the great gladiator after I was told of the news I was escorted out to meet her and with her she said the rudest of things and decided a battle was due so we fought in the arena I left a victor with the taste of iron on my upper lip but it wasn’t
