Imagine you're just living your normal life, then suddenly Europeans invade your island, and everything goes down after that. Well, this is what happened to the Native Americans. That invasion changed the Native Americans' lives forever. The native’s suffered greatly at the invasion of the Europeans because of disease, starvation, and refusal to convert to Catholicism. When the Europeans came to the Native Americans land, everything went downhill after that. “Meeting Europeans who infected them with new diseases.” The diseases that the Europeans brought to the Native Americans made them drop like fleas. Throughout the world at the time, there were a bunch of other people suffering from getting sick or dying. Along with starvation,”Other countries suffered slavery.” The diseases caused starvation to wipe out people for 60 days and led them to suffering. The Europeans first infected the Native Americans with diseases that led to even more problems like starvation, which was caused by the disease. Native Americans got burned for refusing to convert to Catholicism. “Spanish conquistadors slaughtered 40,000 native warriors.” They burned the Native Americans just for not converting to Catholicism, the Europeans just showed up to their land and took their land by burning them in scorching hot fires. “They wanted to convert the native people to Catholicism.” It’s never a good idea to force anybody to change their religion or belief.
