I expect my advisor to provide suggestion, and guide me to create an academic plan depending upon my career goal like what elective courses and what major courses do I need to take if I want to get involved in certain field of IT or what certifications would help me if I wish to prepare for one. Similarly I expect advises on career plan depending upon my academic performance or a suggestion to improve it or make it even better. My other expectation are similar to as mentioned in the Advisor/Advisee Responsibilities page of WKU website like assistance to find academic information, registration and/or substitution of courses, transfer of credits, referrals to appropriate people and offices in case the advisor is unable to provide further assistance
