I would always look at the nurses at the clinic that I usually assisted. I began to have a curiosity towards medicine. I am currently taking AP Chemistry right now and I’m hoping to pass this test in order to be able to take other courses that will help me become a good acute care nurse. Once I go off to college I want to take all my classes serious, so I’m going to have to dedicate all my time to my training, so I could get certified as a nurse. I will also be working for my dad at his shop and possibly work at another job in order to be able to pay for my college. I will still be living with my parents because if I stay home, I can save up until I become an acute care nurse and find a job at a hospital and then move out until I have a stabled job. I feel like by being an acute care nurse and having a few years with this career, I can go back to school and work my way up to become a neurologist. I want to become a neurologist because it is also something that I am interested in becoming ever since I spoke to my little brothers neurologist. One thing that really captured my attention is how neurologist are able to study the brain and detect any growing tumors that are developing in the brain. If nursing doesn’t work out for me, I’ll consider in becoming a chef because I enjoy cooking. Nursing is a career I picked because my mom always wanted to be a nurse so she keeps insisting that I become a nurse, however, cooking for me is a passion that I began to pursue ever since I was little. So if plan A as an acute care nurse doesn’t work out, I can move on to plan B, and pursue my career as a chef and open up my dream
