Numerous African countries have a water crisis on their hands. There are many upon many consequences that occur when there is small access to clean water. In Passage A multiple examples and briefly spoken of when talking about what is taking place when this event takes place. And in Passage B there are also a multitude of examples that are occurring to the main charterer and some of her peers while this horrific event takes place. These examples give us a small picture of what it is like for some of the people living in some of the African countries. Its also states in Passage A how "A person can only live 3-4 days without clean water". In this case than many people have and will die from this because many people living in some of those African countries only access to water is the river and this really shows us how desperate they are from this. In Passage B, it also states "She has known many people who have become sick from drinking the polluted water. Some of her friends have died from diseases they contracted from the polluted water". This is one of the worst consequences that has come from this water crisis and it really shows you how bad of an impact it has had upon some of the African countries. How much of an impact this has made on people's lives just because of water has killed people and taken family members really shows just how bad the consequences of unclean water is on these people.
