The plot of “The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street” is unrealistic because goodmans car started,Steve's car wouldn’t start,and the power outage.

In the play Goodmans cars started.It shouldn’t have been able to start because there was an electromagnetic pulse and it killed all of the electronics.Which was unrealistic and should have been looked over.The car’s battery is an electronic device and it is needed to start the car.

The cell phones were not working.There were no cell phones in the 1950’s.That was unrealistic in the play.Only home phones were around in the 1950’s

In conclusion the play wasn’t as realistic as it should have been,and more time should have been spent overlooking the play.
