To understand Andy Warhol painting one must understand Andy Warhol the person, which in itself lie the mystery. The documentary on Andy Warhol details the life and times of one of the most influential artist in American history and of his times, for the enigma that is Andy Warhol his life as describe by the documentary was neither easy nor glamorous in the beginning all the way to his adult life and finally his death. The abstract expressionist would revolutionize his era as well as generations in the 60’s later redub “the Warhol sixties”, the fame he would later garner would be the rise of generational changing artist as well as mind that would and still influence generations of artists, with the likes of Keith herring, and friend/rival basquiat.
