The aztec ages

The Aztecs lived from 5000 to 1525 B.C. The Aztecs lived on water in a city called Tenochtitlan and it was hard to farm there because the temperature was normally at about 20 degrees celsius and most of their ground was covered in frost which would kill plants and would not allow them to grow.

Aztec victory moments

Many accomplishments were made by the Aztecs. They built their city on a lake because one of their gods told them to build their city where they found an eagle perched on a cactus with a snake in its mouth. The Aztecs had more achievements than just building on water they also had a complex system of water canals or aqueducts. Since the Aztecs were on water there was minimal area to farm so they made floating gardens

If the Aztecs didn’t create a language or any means of communications they would of had to work alone and they would have gotten conquered very fast.

For you, sun god

Every night the Aztecs would sacrifice a human. The Aztecs thought that if they didn't sacrifice someone the sun wouldn't have enough power to rise in the morning. The Aztec woman of the family weaved,cooked and and also cleaned. Men would usually become Aztec warriors and when they turned 18 years old they would start to train. The mayan maize was the main dish on their plate and they also had a chicken recipe. The Aztecs enjoyed playing a game called fever pitch and also gambled with each other

The elements of the gods
The Aztecs thought many gods controlled the elements such as huehue tectum, the god of fire, or tlaloc, god of rain. The aztecs believed it took five tries to create earth just as they believed that if they did not sacrifice someone the sun would not come up. Other aztecs beliefs were that your afterlife would be based on how you died.
