A hero is a person, typically a man, who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. Not only was Beowulf a hero he was a great warrior. Beowulf was and truly is a hero. Courage is a necessary quality of a hero. Beowulf showed his courageousness time and time again. He would have stood up to any creature or human without an ounce of fear in his heart.
