Summary of Black Hawk Down

The movie Black Hawk Down shows, the mistakes made by the US military in Somalia during the battle of Mogadishu in a dramatized way. The 75th ranger regiment are tasked with capturing HVTs. The regiment is relaxing on base before getting notified for the op, once they get the mission they begin to load up their kits, but not taking the objective as serious as it is members of the unit leave behind vital equipment to cut down on weight. This comes back to bite them in the ass later as when they approach the target they take their first casualty as a soldier falls from a helicopter attempting to rappel down at a significant height, as the news of the casualty come over the radio some members of the unit begin to feel
