The topic that I learned from these chapters and was interesting to me was the Jay’s treaty of 1794. On November of 1975, the United States and the Great Britain signed an agreement to peace between these two countries. The treaty was unpopular with the public, but it did what it had to do and maintained peace between the two nations.
Tension between the Great Britain was high specially after the American independence from the Great Britain. British could easily export to the United States, but American exports were blocked by the British. The war between the United States and French was the first reason that caused the Jay’s treaty. There was division among the Americans that supported the British and the Americans that supported French.
