As we grow up, we are often asked, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” When we are asked this question at a young age, we dream of achieving something extraordinary and thrilling. As you enter middle school, we take multiple surveys that determine our personalities and interests, which can help map out the career paths that seem to be a good fit for us on paper. After participating in those surveys, I always got the results of being a teacher or nurse. However, neither of those professions appealed to me. Despite that, I knew that I wanted to pursue a career involved in the medical field. After working as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) in a long-term care facility since 2021, I discovered that I had a true passion for helping others.
