First, Guy Montag's feelings about his job do change because in the beginning he loved his job. In the novel, Montag is a fireman who starts fires. It is very clear that in the beginning of the novel montags feels good about his job, because the novel states, "It was a pleasure to burn. It was a special pleasure to see things eaten, to see things blackened and changed" (Bradbury 3).
