Like any other day in South Carolina with a blue sky on December 20,1860 left the Union!. After 5 days later the federal troops positioned themselves in Charleston, South California. However, they remove to Fort Sumter, where it’s an island of Charleston Harbor. People are claiming who the forts belong to. Like the North, they said “property of the United States government.” The Southern Carolina people said, “ it belonged to the New Confederacy.”

As times goes by ( 4 months later) the first arrangement of the Civil War took place! The Fort Sumter commander name Major Robert Anderson, who was a slave owner and loyal to the Union. Sadly. Anderson and his soldiers were cut off before of the need to retrieve more supplies. Later January, 1861 comes by as the last act of President James Buchanan, who sent 200 soldiers and supplied the unarmed merchant (Star of West). Also working together with Anderson and quickly fled when South Carolina started firing all over the place.

As president Lincoln, who is still trying to get used to the job being the “president” and taking action for the Fort Sumter in try to reunite with the Union. Going back to Jefferson, he sent a group of commissioners to the Washington to “talk” about Fort Sumter to South Carolina.
