Yes it’s a proven fact and we all know that by using Photoshop it enhances one’s physical features. It simply makes it easier for Models, Athletes, Actors, and anyone who enjoys taking pictures to appear more attractive than they really are in person. The whole idea of photoshop and the controversy it has brought, it gives us a certain image online, for blogs, and other social media websites that can help boost your career. We all know that in this era it’s all about your image how your Photos look in your portfolio and the main thing is to look camera ready. Well as we all know we are living in the MySpace and Facebook era and everyone can pretty much be their own star. A good friend of mine had been doing photo shoots for local people around the cities, and he had explained to me a few situations he had run into dealing with Photography/ Photoshop. He had told me that he did a portfolio for a woman who was an aspiring model/actress, and explained to me how she yelled at him because the agency didn’t choose because they flat out told her that she didn’t look the same in her photos than she did in person and also they were looking for a more taller person and that she didn’t appear to be the same size and frame that she appeared in the photos she had taken with him.
Now I’ve never been the one to point the finger, but who’s at fault on a situation like this? The photographer for one he or she who edits the photos and take them are responsible for the outcome and for two he shouldn’t fabricate something to the point where you can tell there is no authenticity in the photo.
