When I embarked on my journey of high school, I could never imagine that the impossible dreams of academic success I strived for could soon be a reality. As I began my first year of high school, I was determined to become a part of the honour roll at our school. The wearying course of hard work and dedication was propelled by this fiery ambition. As I received the honour roll in grade 9, I realized that my aspirations were within my reach. I went on to achieve the top mark in food and nutrition in grade 10. However, along with this award was my greatest academic accomplishment. I was one of the two students that achieved recognition for the highest overall average in my 2014-2015 school year. After failing to proceed to DECA provincials in my first year, I returned in my grade 10 year where I received the recognition as a regional written event finalist in the marketing management category. While continuing my passion in business, I was selected by my grade 11 accounting teacher to take part in the 2016 COIN competition organized by Chartered Professional Accountants, where I ranked 33 out of 312 grade 11 students across all of Ontario. However, my passions do not merely exist within the business field. As a figure skater, I have been awarded multiple medals within the Central Ontario region. After dedicating ten years to competitive figure skating, I was presented the rewarding opportunity to become a program assistant at Markham Skating Club. As a program assistant, I was responsible for assisting a Skate Canada coach with delivering the skate program on-ice for young skaters. While I held this vital position, the significant duties of leading circuits, drills, and group activities fell onto me to perform. Yet, the unassigned task of becoming a positive role model for the children turned into my most important
