Colonial Williamsburg serves as an educational tool for kids and adults of all ages. All of its exhibits are very important, but one of its exhibits, the Capitol, deserves a Commemorative Coin for its great amount of importance. For instance, this building is unique because it was where Patrick Henry gave his Caesar-Brutus speech comparing King George to various tyrants. During it, Henry was accused of treason. Additionally, this building was historically significant in Colonial Williamsburg. It has a large amount of value today, and greatly connects to the theme, "That the future may learn from the past." All in all, this building must have a commemorative coin showing its importance in Colonial Williamsburg. First of all, this building deserves a Commemorative Coin because it was of great importance in Colonial Williamsburg. The Capitol was a place where the government could get organized. For example, this building held court trials and was one of the oldest buildings in Colonial Williamsburg. Also, this building is where the government made votes, both the House of Burgesses and the Governor's Council. Additionally, various Patriots spoke of independence in this building. Along with this, these speeches were mostly in 1776 during the American Revolution. Altogether, this building greatly deserves a Commemorative Coin for its importance in Colonial times. …show more content…
