My parents are very hard workers and try so hard to make sure we have everything we need. However, my parents did not complete a proper education as both did not graduate high school. Consequently, my parents do not have high paying jobs. My mom is a licensed cosmetologist and my dad is a self-employed taxi driver. We live in a trailer, which I am very grateful to call home. I am very proud of my parent’s progress despite coming to this country with nothing in their hands. Before my dad was a taxi driver, he worked as a day laborer for years.
