Creation Vs Evolution

The evolution/creation debate has been ongoing since Darwin published his “Origin of Species” in 1859 and even after such a long time, there seems to be no end in sight regarding a solution to the problems. There is no end in sight as neither of the two theories can be proven empirically, and therefore both theories will remain unproven. This does not however mean that evolutionists do not continue to grasp at scientific straws to try to explain their flights of fancy – mutation being the latest in a long list of hopeful theoretical proofs.
According to evolutionists mutation is defined as “A mutation is assumed to be a real structural change in a gene, of such character that something novel is produced, not merely reworking of something already there.”1, in reality mutation as defined by the medical dictionary on freedictionary.com is “A change in the chemistry of a gene that is perpetuated in subsequent divisions of the cell in which it occurs; a change in the sequence of base pairs in the chromosomal molecule.”. So, in reality mutations do occur, but they rarely produce something novel; mutations are real, however there are no recorded events of mutation ever producing a completely new trait in a species of animal, so “Mutations, yes; evolution, no”.2
