For my cultural immersion project I decided to choose the options of describing an experience I had at my work place with a Spanish speaking customer. This was a good selection because this something I encounter daily. My place of employment is Walmart. Everyone knows that Walmart is a very busy store and my store is the market store in the state of Wisconsin which makes it even busier than others. I work in the Electronics department. Its changeling trying to explain the functions of a tablet, laptop, or prepaid phones to a customer who speaks the same language as I do. You can only imagine what the conversation is like trying to help a customer who first language is Spanish. There’s a lot of pointing and head scratches.
