I felt extremely honored on June 6th 2015, to have the privilege to attend the “Fierce & Fabulous” presented by Mia Bella Academy of Dance Spring recital 2015; as they were celebrating their 5th fabulous years. The recital took place at Flagler Palm Coast high school of Palm Coast and this performance was special as it marked their 11th dance recital in the last five years; how amazing and exciting for team. There were a total of two full acts; Act 1 had twenty dance pieces where Act 2 had nineteen. They entered the stage in all directions and the atmosphere was immediately full with energy. The music was upbeat and they moved right along with the beat and rhythm of the music. Every ounce of their body, muscles and ligaments were being exercised throughout the dance piece. There were multiple moves; jumps, leaps, crawling along the floor best way to describe with be ‘monkey style’, arms moved entire time while dancing, head and upper body was incorporated as well. I really enjoyed the part where they climbed up on one another’s back and when they made large flips across the entire stage. They used spot lights to emphasize the scene and bring life to the dance as well. The dancers did a great job in this particular dance selection. The outfits fit the African theme of the performance perfectly; they wore long multicolor loose fitting pants with black sport bra type
