The one thing that everyone turns to, to help them out. Something that can be lethal in some situations. A substance that people take in to have fun. A liquid that can turn someone’s life around: alcohol. Alcohol is a curse.
For people who feel like they are too stressed out, shy, or nervous to have a good time in a social situation, alcohol can seem like the answer (pbskids.org). Comparing to what people drink to be considered fun, taking in a few drinks is all you need. Consuming more than you need makes you lose control. Many people who say they drink to have a good time end up so drunk that they do not remember what they did (pbskids.org).
