Democracy, Authoritarian Capitalism, and China:
They explained in this video that China has an amazing economy, second largest in the world, but the working condition are horrible and income disparity. It got all those people out of poverty but that also came with the unhealthy work environments. This is a problem with the free marketing system because China is trying to replace free marketing system with their system called authoritarian capitalism. It also states that state run industries do not corporate with investors. This is problem for the free market system because then their is no money circulating. The video all states that these business don't encourage creativity. This makes democracy look good because you have the freedom to do anything, within reason.

What is life like for people in China today?:
This video explains that everything in their day to day lives was given to them by the state. If they had democracy they could chose were they lived and make the best decisions for their family. I think that is an advantage to democracy because you can gain health care laws by voting and voting is a part of democracy. A person can truly benefit from democracy if they know how to do so. People also are talking about how much they miss their family and how much they want to go home. Why can't they go home? Is it because the government won´t let them?
