Coming into the class, I was aware of Ms. Wegmans grueling work schedule and grading. This made me very self conscious of my grades. I wanted to exceed and be great, but soon after, I found out that it would be even more strenuous that I thought. Through Ms Wegmans rigorous course, I was forced to work harder, which has ultimately made me a better writer. This shows how growth mind has positively affected my school work. Developing Growth Mindset was very challenging, and the grades I was recieving affected my confidence. I began to think that I was an incapable writer because no matter what leaps and bounds I made I still received the same grade. I believe that it was an issue of always being praised by teachers, and students alike for my work. Studentship has been my strongest category throughout both quarters due to my strong work ethic. I believe that I have no missing assignments, and have had no late assignments (with exception of late hard copies). Writing has clearly been my disappointing category and I wish to improve upon my writing before I start 10th grade. The reason I believe writing is one of my weaknesses is due to my inability to put commas in correct places and avoid Fatal Flaws. This is how I lost points on both essays. When you have fewer grammatical errors, it is substantially easier to cover some of the other flaws in writing, and I did myself no favors with
