People conform to the norm all the time. Whether it is fashion or entertainment, people like to hop on the bandwagon. There are people that think the mainstream is the right way and take their own risks. Dystopian books provide amazing examples of these characters. What drives someone to take action and decide what they want to do with their life and not base it off of others. Or even what the government pushes onto them. This causes the people however to follow the government’s mindset like brainwashed zombies. This creates problems and laws that seem insane to us but completely normal to the people in the books.
