Have you ever wondered what would be a solution to some of the environmental problems?Traditional livestock creates many greenhouse gases.So,that leads to other problems, which we’re going to talk about.Also, we’re going to talk starting eating bugs.Bugs are the solution to global warming.They also have many proteins and they need less resources than traditional livestock. Insects create less greenhouse gases which is good because that means less global warming,climate change and ect.According to source 3,mealworms produce 0-18kg greenhouse gases.On the other hand,beef produces 78-180 kg greenhouse gases(crane 11).This means that if people want more beef which it will leads to more greenhouse gases,causing global warming,climate change and ect..In addition, source 1 says that “Bugs can live on “organic side-stream”--food industry by products--to help reduce environmental waste.They produce less greenhouse gases”(Boboltz”source author”).This demonstrates that insects do releases less greenhouse gases.Also,that they can reduce environmental waste.one of the reasons we should start eating bugs is because they produce less greenhouse gases.
