If you are an immigrant you will know that when you leave you almost leave you thoughts and memories behind.Well have you ever read the book Esperanza Rising by Pam Munoz Ryan. Also after learning about discrimination. In the book Esperanza faced many challenges in the journey of moving to america.Here are a few challenges She had to deal with being put out because she is mexican.Plus she has to work because she is mexican.
The first challenge Esperanza faced was she did not know how to do daily chores (p.117) “Burning with humiliation she dropped the broom and ran back into the cabin”.This sentence shows that Esperanza doesn't even know how to sweep which is ones of her daily chores.But this is only one of the hard challenges Esperanza has
