Have you ever passed by the Everglades in Florida and said "Its just a huge swamp, why do we keep it?" before? Well there is more to the Everglades than meets the eye. It is a valuable place in Florida as well as a wondrous and one-of a kind wetland.

The Everglades is the largest sub-tropical wetland in North America and home to 67 unique endangered species. The Everglades also is not a swamp but a very slow moving river. In the Everglades you will find the only place in America where Crocodiles and Alligators will co-exist as well as clothes piercing Sawgrass. Wildlife is so plentiful in the Glades that when birds fly people will say their "Darkening the Sky". The natives who lived by it even called it "Grassy Water" .
