Sea turtles can grow to be very large sometimes even up to 2,000 pounds

Sea turtles adaptations is the sea world they are known to be strong swimmers. The arms and limbs are nonretractile , retractile limbs on a sea turtle would making them swim less efficiently. Sea turtles can live in sea water with no need for a freshwater source. They maintain a good amount of water from their diet and from metabolizing seawater. Sea turtles also have a salt gland to rid their bodies of excess salt.
