A hero to me is someone that puts their life in danger or someone that shows an act of kindness or courage.In the novel, The Outsiders, by S.E. Hinton, out of all the characters of the Greaser gang, there are three people that stand out as heroes. These three characters are Johnny, Ponyboy, and Dally are the characters that stand out as heroes to me. These characters usually do the right thing while most of the rest of the gang don’t really act like heroes, at least compared to Johnny, Ponyboy and Dally.
