I would like to talk to you about our nations gun control. I feel like in the past few years there has been several mass shooting involving certain types of fire arms. To me guns are not the big problem but I do feel like certain guns should have bans and more restrictions on them. In my family guns are more than just a weapon they are a way of life. The guns we use for hunting are shotguns for duck and dove season, rifles for deer season. None of these guns we use are semi automatic they are ether bolt action or signal shot. We use theses guns as a way to provide food for our families. Something I just do not understand is why hunters need semi automatic rifles to hunt. Why do you need a rifle that can shoot multiple of rounds at one time? I feel like we should only allow hunters to use bolt action and …show more content…
I feel like a bolt action rifle would be just a effective as a semi automatic the only difference in a bolt action rifle is that when you fire a round the person must manually pull the bolt back so the round can exit the chamber and you would not be able to constantly fire back to back rounds. When it comes to shot guns I feel like a signal shot would do the same job as a pump action shot gun. The only difference is when you fire the gun you have to open the barrel so the empty bullet can exit and you can place a new one in. I know there are bunch of gun collectors and people who love guns. I know that collectors have a bunch of the same types of guns but I feel like there should be a limit to how many of the same type of guns you can own. There should be a law to how many live firearms you can have in a household. You should only be able to own 10 pistols, 5 shotguns, 5 semi automatic rifles, and 2 automatic rifles.
