It is no doubt that Harriet Tubman had an extraordinary effect on the freeing of slaves. In turn, this made Harriet Tubman an extraordinary heroine. Harriet displayed a multitude of innate traits that made her successful in her ventures. Firstly, Tubman was a very hard working woman who had an incredible work ethic. In continuation, she had an unwavering faith and hope that allowed her to move forward during her journey. Lastly, she selflessly served others; and, while she did so she put herself in danger. In summation, Tubman possessed characteristics that enabled her to be successful at fighting for what is right. Tubman’s industrious attitude was an attribute that contributed her overall goal. After freeing herself from the horrible life she once lived, she returned. She went back to slave states to safely assist other slaves to freedom. Even though it was quite dangerous for runaway slaves to return to slave states, Harriet eagerly did so. Harriet kept in mind that she had a bounty over her head. She did not let this hinder her selfless actions. At this time, the Fugitive Slave Law was a rule that every state had to abide by, even Free states. With all of these attributes lined up against her, she remained bold and brave in order to aid others to freedom. However, Harriet had not let the downfalls of the situation get her down. Tubman’s main priority was to free slaves, and her never ending faith and hope helped her do so. When it comes to heroic, Harriet Tubman was, and is the ultimate example. Obviously, Tubman had to have traits that allowed her to achieve her goals through life. Initially, Tubman was a productive, hard worker. Similarly, she held a hope that couldn’t be penetrated during her journey. Finally, she nobly assisted other slaves to freedom, even if it cost her own.
