Every neighborhood has in New York City has at least one health issue and some even more than one. Whether it is high risks of catching sexual transmitted, or having a lot people with some type of a mental issue, but every neighborhood has a health issue that is more common to see than the other neighborhoods. The neighborhood the Southeast Bronx has a health issue just like every neighborhood in New York City. In the Southeast Bronx there are a few different health issues, one of the health issue is too many people who smoke cigarettes in the neighborhood and that is going to lead to even more health issues. The reason why we should put these posters on the every box of cigarettes is because people are ignoring all of the posters and commercials that are trying to show people all of the bad that smoking can cause. Now if these posters are on the box it is harder for the person to ignore, therefore it will lead people to begin quitting or start to think about quitting, because they are always seeing these posters and it will begin to change the way they look at smoking. Another way the city council can help stop smoking is by raising the price on the box of cigarettes again. The reason for this is that if cigarettes increase again people will more likely be discouraged to waste so much money on and will slowly begin to quit the bad habit. Although it may be hard for people who are current smokers to stop a really addictive habit, but with these things in place there will be less people who are smokers in the Southeast Bronx neighborhood.
Another major health concern in the Southeast Bronx neighborhood is obesity. In the Southeast Bronx neighborhood it seems like there are more people whether they are old or young are overweight. The reason why obesity is such a serious issue is because it can lead to so many
