Imagine you are a honor student. You been on honor roll all your life you work hard to reach your goals Then a football star that only put in half the work you did get scholarships than you can ever imagine.How would you feel?That is the reason why all athletes need to be on honor roll in order to play or to be considered on a team.One reason is that they will have more options,they will have a solid backup plan,and it is not fair to other students who have to work twice as hard to get half of what a star athletes have.
According to USA Today's Sports the chances of playing in the pros for football is 1 out of 4,233.The chances for men basketball is 1 in 11,771 for the women it's 1 in 13,015.The chances of playing on a professional level is slim to none .Having good grades could help you get a job that will pay very close to what professional athletes get paid.Some professional athletes went back to get …show more content…
